developing quality work habits is an important component of each student's educational experience.
in order to best prepare themselves for academic success, all students should strive to arrive to class on time,
have any absences excused by a parent or guardian, be on-task and productive during class time,
pay attention and participate during lessons and activities, complete all assigned work, demonstrate respect for others,
attend flex time when in need of assistance, and limit cell-phone usage only to times where required or permitted.

waterloo contests
for students who excel in mathematics or enjoy the challenge of difficult problems, the waterloo contest may be a good fit. at this grade level, students will write the pascal contest. this contest takes place in february and is offered at the school. if students wish to prepare for the contest ahead of time, they should consult the contests and solutions from previous years (link listed below).
